Guacamole. We're having chicken fajitas one night this week, so the plan is to save this guacamole and what's left of the salsa from last week's "busy kitchen" for that dinner.
Chopped, fresh strawberries. Ready for the girls' snacks this week.
Chicken Cheddar Noodle Bake. We had this for a late lunch/ early dinner. I forgot to get a picture of it before we dug into it so I had to take a picture after we'd thrown the leftovers in a Tupperware. There's enough leftover for one or two lunches for Dwayne or I this week.
Two sausage and cheese quiches. We didn't eat any of these today. We just let them cool, covered and refrigerated them. We're saving them for breakfasts this week. I used this recipe.
Pineapple Cake. I had a can of crushed pineapple that I needed to use so I made this recipe. But instead of angel food cake mix, I used white cake mix. It turned out really good anyway. My family doesn't usually like pineapple, but everyone likes this cake. It's so light and fluffy, it's already halfway gone! The girls each had two big pieces of it with their hot chocolate after they came in from playing in the snow.
Apple Crisp. Somehow, against all odds, we've had a gallon of vanilla bean ice cream just sitting in the the freezer uneaten for a week or two. In order to get it eaten, I made apple crisp. Vanilla ice cream always disappears when apple crisp is anywhere nearby. I used this recipe.
