Avril will walk over to the fridge, point and say, "Mi..." She doesn't say the "...lk" yet but Mommy knows what she means anyway. (You can't see the sippy cup of milk, but she's holding it in her right hand.)

The questions I had been asking God all day:
"Am I supposed to keep these dreams to myself?
"I am pretty sure you speak to me, but is it really you? Or just an overactive imagination?"
"Is it even possible for the God of all creation to whisper to me anyway?"
"Is it appropriate for me to blog about such personal stuff?"
The words I read in the Bible that night:
"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." Matthew 10:27
No kidding.
I've been following this God half my life now and I am still terrified, surprised, humbled, thrilled... when His Spirit speaks directly to me through the Bible. It never gets old.

I'm thrilled. They didn't replace my broken camera... They just gave us money to buy a new one just like it. (And, we even got a little money back since the cost of the camera has gone down since we bought it several months ago.) Warranties are the way to go! So, the old, old camera that I was using the last week or two goes back into the hat box with all the dead cell phones and mysterious electronic chords, etc. until the time when I need it again (which, knowing me, may only be months from now.)
We finally finished our read-aloud Milly, Molly, Mandy! (I'm embarrassed to admit how long that took us.) Shew! But, it was an adorable book that I will keep and hopefully read again to Avril in a few years (or maybe Norah will be able to read it aloud to her by then).

I just want to say an "I love you" to my precious father. The poor man has gone without photos of his grand children several days now since I've been filling my blog with so much writing.
He was very kind to me on the phone today, but I could hear the desperation in his voice when he asked me for more photos. It's past the point of joking, so I have to say that I am genuinely sorry, Dad. You connecting with your grand children is far more important than anything I have to say... and I really mean that.
So, I'll post more photos. In fact, I'll even make it official and promise to post a least one photo of at least one grandchild everyday day from now on just for you.
I love you, Dad.
