Good combos: Pre-cooked sausage, pineapple chunks, green onion and grape tomatoes or chunks of chicken breasts with sliced peppers and onions. Preheat the grill. Once your kabobs are built, sprinkle them generously with spices and as they cook, baste them with a marinade you like.
